Highlights
- The Séjourné viaduct, a two-tiered stone bridge over the Têt.
- The Pont Gisclard, the last railway suspension bridge still in service in France.
- Open-air carriages in summer, perfect for photos.
Tips
- Sit on the right (heading up) for the best views of the viaducts, though both sides are good.
- Trains get very full in summer; arrive early, and check for any service changes or works.
- Combine with Villefranche-de-Conflent and Mont-Louis, both UNESCO-listed Vauban fortifications.
